I’ve written about this topic before, but it’s been a while, and a lot has changed over the last year. Since my last update, the platform has continued to grow, competition has increased, and subscriber spending habits have shifted. So I thought it was a good time to revisit the numbers and see what it really takes to be in the top 1% on OnlyFans in 2026.
You’ve probably seen creators all over social media proudly posting screenshots showing they’re in the “Top 1%” on OnlyFans. But what does that actually mean in terms of earnings? How much money does someone really need to make to reach that level?
Curious myself, I reached out to friends throughout the adult industry and collected real-world data directly from multiple creators who were kind enough to share their dashboards and rankings with me. I compared their monthly earnings against their account percentages to get a clearer picture of where things currently stand.
And honestly? The numbers surprised even me.
Based on the data I collected from March 2026, here’s a rough breakdown of what creators were earning monthly at various OnlyFans percentages.
| OnlyFans Rank | Estimated Monthly Earnings |
|---|---|
| Top 0.01% | $332,000 |
| Top 0.02% | $275,000 |
| Top 0.04% | $190,500 |
| Top 0.05% | $157,000 |
| Top 0.08% | $123,000 |
| Top 0.09% | $120,000 |
| Top .12% | $97,000 |
| Top .14% | $90,000 |
| Top .18% | $75,000 |
| Top .21% | $70,000 |
| Top .33% | $52,500 |
| Top .43% | $43,800 |
| Top .52% | $37,900 |
| Top .69% | $31,000 |
| Top .71% | $29,000 |
| Top 0.81% | $27,000 |
| Top 0.94% | $23,000 |
| Top 1% | $20,500 |
| Top 1.5% | $16,000 |
| Top 2% | $12,200 |
| Top 3% | $7,400 |
| Top 3.6% | $6,300 |
| Top 4.1% | $5,400 |
| Top 5.2% | $3,900 |
| Top 6% | $3,000 |
| Top 7% | $2,400 |
| Top 10% | $1,200 |
| Top 15% | $660 |
| Top 22% | $296 |
| Top 40% | $107 |
As you can see, the drop-off becomes incredibly steep once you move outside that top 1% range. A creator sitting comfortably at 0.8% may be making several thousand dollars per month, while someone at 5% could be earning only a fraction of that.
And this is important because social media tends to distort reality. People often talk about the top 1% as if it automatically means millionaire status, but in many cases, being in the top 1% means earning somewhere in the mid- to low four figures per month. That’s still fantastic money for many people, but it’s probably lower than what most outsiders imagine.
Why These Numbers Fluctuate
Before anyone panics because their numbers don’t perfectly match this chart, it’s important to understand how dynamic OnlyFans rankings really are. This data reflects March 2026 specifically. Rankings move constantly.
A creator who is in the top 1% this month might slide to 1.5% next month without doing anything “wrong.” Likewise, a creator who suddenly goes viral on TikTok or Instagram could jump dramatically in a matter of weeks.
The platform changes constantly because:
- Subscriber spending changes
- Competition changes
- Traffic sources change
- Seasons affect spending behavior
- Economic conditions affect disposable income
We also have to remember that OnlyFans itself continues to grow. The more creators who join the platform, the harder it becomes to maintain certain percentages over time. That’s one reason why comparing your current numbers to old screenshots online can be misleading.
Comparing the Numbers From Past Data
One thing that stood out to me while collecting this year’s data is how much harder it has become to maintain elite percentages compared to previous years.
If you compare this report to my March 2025 report and even my older October 2021 report, you can clearly see the platform’s evolution.
| Percent | March 2024 | March 2026 | March 2026 |

| 0.09% | $86,000 | $103,038 | $120,941 |
| 0.80% | $19,221 | $22,398 | $27,169 |

Back in 2021, some creators could hit the top 1% with dramatically lower earnings than what’s required today. But the creator economy has matured. There are more creators, more agencies, more competition, and far more aggressive marketing happening across social media.
That doesn’t mean success is impossible. It just means creators today need to work smarter and market themselves better than ever before. And honestly, marketing is still the biggest difference-maker.
The creators making serious money are usually not the people posting the most explicit content. They’re the people:
- Building strong brands
- Growing social media audiences
- Creating emotional connections
- Driving consistent traffic
- Understanding conversion
At the end of the day, visibility matters. The more people who know who you are, the more money you can potentially make.
The Reality Most People Don’t See
One thing social media rarely shows you is how uneven earnings truly are on OnlyFans.
A recent study found that the top 0.1% of creators reportedly capture the overwhelming majority of revenue on the platform, while many creators earn very little at all. The gap between the top earners and everyone else is enormous.
That’s why chasing percentages alone can become mentally unhealthy.
Your focus should not be:
“How do I become top 0.3% tomorrow?”
Instead, it should be:
“How do I improve my numbers compared to last month?”
Growth compounds over time.
The creators who consistently improve their marketing, retention, branding, and audience relationships tend to rise steadily. The creators constantly comparing themselves to viral celebrities usually end up frustrated and burned out.
Use This as a Guide, Not Gospel
At the end of the day, these figures are best used as a rough guide to help you understand the current landscape of the platform.
They are not fixed rules.
OnlyFans is dynamic. What qualifies as the top 5% today may not qualify next month. A creator can jump or drop significantly based on a single viral post, a successful collaboration, or even a seasonal slowdown.
So don’t obsess over percentages.
Instead:
- Track your own growth
- Focus on improving traffic
- Improve conversion rates
- Build stronger fan relationships
- Create a brand people remember
That’s the real path to long-term success.
