The Adult Entertainment Expo (AE Expo), a prominent event in the adult entertainment industry, is set to return to Las Vegas. Scheduled from January 23-25, 2024, at the Resorts Hotel, the expo is expected to draw a large crowd of industry professionals and enthusiasts. However, this year’s event comes with a significant update in its dress code and conduct policies.

In a notable shift from previous years, the AE Expo has introduced specific guidelines regarding acceptable attire for attendees. The organizers emphasize that while the event celebrates adult entertainment, and thus sexy attire is expected, certain limits have been set to ensure a respectful and professional environment.

1. Breast Coverage: The new rules explicitly prohibit the use of pasties. Attendees are required to cover their breasts with bikini tops or similar attire. This rule establishes bikini tops as the minimal acceptable wardrobe for breast coverage.
2. Thong Guidelines: Thongs, a popular choice at such events, are still permissible but with strict conditions. They must completely cover the genitals without exposing any pubic hair. Additionally, the thong should fully cover the anus and the skin immediately above and below it. A mere string across the anus is not considered adequate coverage.
3. Transparency in Attire: Sheer or transparent garments are not allowed unless they comply with the above-mentioned guidelines for breast and genital coverage.

Prohibited Conduct

The AE Expo has also outlined clear conduct guidelines to maintain decorum at the event:

• Wearing Minimal Wardrobe: Attendees dressed in minimal wardrobe as described above are prohibited from wearing such attire outside the show floor. This rule aims to limit exposure to only within the event premises.
• Nudity: Complete nudity is strictly prohibited throughout the Expo, including all event locations like the show floor, registration areas, lobbies, meeting rooms, and special event spaces.
• Sexual Behavior: Any form of sexual behavior or contact, whether real or simulated, is banned. This includes any actions suggestive of sexual activities.
• Exhibition of Bodily Fluids: The exhibition of bodily fluids or excretions, including simulated acts, is strictly prohibited.
• Flashing: Flashing, defined as exposing genitalia, the areola or nipples of the female breasts, or the anus, is not allowed.
• Smoking: Smoking is banned in all areas of the Expo, including the show floor and event rooms.

These updated rules reflect a growing trend in industry events where organizers are striving to balance the nature of the event with a respectful and safe environment for all attendees. The AE Expo’s new dress code and conduct guidelines are a step towards ensuring that the event remains a professional and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. As the event approaches, participants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with these rules to avoid any inconvenience during the expo.
