Content Creator Sues Their Onlyfans Management Agency

I was contacted recently by a content creator who had a horrible experience with an Onlyfans management agency named Bluresca, and she was totally distraught over the state of her account due to what she called mismanagement.

I had never heard of this company, so I went to Google to do my research, and the first thing I found was their official website, which proudly listed several of their models, leaving them open to potential lawsuits for fraud.

Right now there are a couple big lawsuits going, one of which is a class action, where creators are being sued for not disclosing they use chatters or a management company. Knowing that, why would you proudly tell people these particular models use your management company?

Bluresca Lawsuit

Waifu Mia, Scarlett Nior, Addison Ivy, Lily Lanes, Lems, Mia Francis, Cherry Cat, Ashtyn Sommer, Ana Nello, and Layla Adeline. All content creators listed as their models.

That just opens them up to so many potential legal issues. Not the least of which is getting their Onlyfans account, which does not allow 3rd parties to run your account.

So that was red flag #1 for me with this company, but then I came across a lawsuit where one of their models took them to court.

Aaliyah Jones, a content creator from California, filed a complaint against Bluresca, LLC, a digital marketing firm, alleging breach of contract, defamation, and negligence.

The complaint, filed in December 2023, centers on a marketing agreement Jones entered into with Bluresca in 2022. Under the agreement, the firm was responsible for promoting Jones’s OnlyFans account in exchange for a percentage of her earnings. However, Jones claims that after an initial marketing push, Bluresca significantly reduced its efforts, leaving her to drive subscriber growth independently.

A critical turning point in the dispute occurred in September 2023, when Bluresca allegedly reported to OnlyFans that Jones had been underage at the time of recording specific content. This claim led to the immediate and permanent termination of Jones’s OnlyFans account, a move that she argues resulted in severe financial and reputational damage. Jones maintains that she was legally an adult when the content was created and that Bluresca’s report was both false and negligent.

In addition to the lawsuit and exposing their client list on their website, there were other issues that gave me pause, including the fact that they haven’t updated their Twitter (X) since last year – same with their Instagram (April 22, 2024, was their last post). Their blog hasn’t been updated since May of 2024.

So long story short, before you do business with this Onlyfans management agency or any for that matter, seriously ask yourself, do you really need a management agency? If you are sure you need help then here is what I suggest ….

First, write down everything you want them to do for you. This means answering DMs, managing your timeline, editing your videos, updating social media, following expired users, and sending out mass messages (PPVs). Or whatever it is especially you want them to do for you.

Be very specific and when you are speaking with them, make sure they have your list, and anything they say they can or will do, have them PUT IT IN WRITING.

Have them do the same, and ask them to provide a specific list of things (IN WRITING) they expect from you.

Have them put in a clause in your contract that says if either party (you or them) aren’t doing what you promised, you can terminate your contract with 10 days written notice.

Then you can revisit that agreement in every now and then and if they aren’t doing everything on your list, you can part ways.

Don’t ever go into a deal with a management agency that doesn’t put everything in writing and isn’t willing to give you an easy out if they aren’t doing what they promise.

This Bluresca lawsuit isn’t the first time a OF management agency has been sued by a content creator, nor will it be the last. Onlyfans management agencies are known for being predatory. So you have to protect yourself and your brand.

Not all of them are bad, but it’s not easy to find a good one. This is why you have to be diligent about protecting yourself up front.
