101 Modeling has been problematic for a while now, specifically the owner, Robert Moran. He’s had more people than I can count accuse him of problematic behavior, as well as accusations of drug and alcohol abuse.
Another performer has come forward with her story, and let me tell you, it’s heartbreaking, and the pictures are beyond upsetting.
Your agent should be protecting you from predators in the industry, not be one themselves.
Tess Thompson has publicly accused Robert Moran, a figure associated with the agency, of violent sexual assault, issuing a warning to other performers in a lengthy statement posted to X.
The statement, published this week, describes alleged events that the model says occurred while she was newly involved in the modeling industry. She said she had remained silent for months out of fear of not being believed and concern that speaking out could damage her career at an early stage. According to her account, that silence was broken because she no longer wanted others to be put at risk.
In her post, the model alleged that Robert Moran assaulted her after they had been drinking together. She wrote that she felt disoriented and unable to fully recall the events, describing periods of drifting in and out of consciousness. She said she later woke up with injuries to her knee that she believes were caused during the alleged assault, not by an accidental fall as she claims Robert Moran told her afterward.
She described waking to find Moran naked, laughing when she asked about her injury, and making explicit sexual demands. The model stated that she was left with visible abrasions, which she characterized as rug burns, and said the incident caused ongoing paranoia and emotional distress. Photographs of the injuries were included in her social media post.
The accuser also alleged that others connected to 101 Modeling were aware of video footage depicting an assault and treated it as a joke. In her message, she criticized those individuals for allegedly sharing the video and laughing about it, accusing them of defending abusive behavior within the industry.
She urged other adult performers to be cautious and said she felt a responsibility to speak out regardless of whether her claims were believed.
“I shouldn’t have to expect this to happen,” she wrote, adding that being new to the industry made her feel groomed into accepting the situation as normal.
Robert Moran had not publicly responded to the allegations, and 101 Modeling had not issued an official statement addressing the claims. No information was available indicating whether a police report has been filed or whether an investigation is underway. But given how LAPD works, that’s unlikely.
Sadly, that’s the reality most adult performers face when it comes to reporting abuse to the police.
Male performer Alex Jett chimed in to remind everyone of what happened to him in 2021.
Just a reminder for everyone: Robert Moran of 101 Modeling violently assaulted me in 2021. He fractured my collarbone and I needed surgery, and now have a titanium plate with screws inside me, as well as a permanent 5 inch scar. Here is a picture of how it looks right now
He is a violent abuser and anyone who continues to do business with him is complicit in the future abuse of others
These new allegations against Robert Moran and 101Modeling.com come amid broader discussions within the adult industry about power imbalances, workplace safety, and the treatment of young or inexperienced performers.
In recent years, social media has increasingly been used by individuals to share accusations when they feel traditional reporting channels have failed them or may carry professional risks.
It’s become a way for performers to let others know about the predators and problematic players in our industry.
Will something of consequence come of this case? I’m not sure. But luckily, when brave performers like Tess Thompson speak out, it can help let others know about the problems with a person like Robert Moran, so they won’t become a victim of his abuse either.
