British adult film performer Danny Mountain has been taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), according to multiple industry sources. The 41-year-old actor was said to have been detained last week at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, though ICE has not confirmed the detention publicly.
This information has now been confirmed. He remains in custody as of September 3, 2025, in McFarland, California, at the Golden State Annex Detention Center, awaiting his deportation hearing.
Danny Mountain, born in England, has lived and worked in the United States for more than a decade. However, colleagues say his immigration status has long been uncertain.
Before entering the adult industry, Danny Mountain was considered a promising young footballer. He trained with Southampton’s youth squad and attracted interest from Premier League clubs including Chelsea, West Ham, and Tottenham. His sports career ended at 16 after a serious knee injury, leading him to pursue adult entertainment in the mid-2000s.
He quickly became a regular name in American productions. But despite years of steady work, sources say he never secured permanent residency.
Mountain married adult actress Eva Angelina in 2007. The pair divorced in 2009, before his green card process was completed. In 2014, he married fellow performer Mia Malkova, but that union ended in 2017. Both marriages could have provided a route toward U.S. residency, but according to those close to him, paperwork and timing issues left him without legal status. He then went on to have a child with performer AJ Applegate.
“He was never the sharpest knife in the block when it came to paperwork,” one industry source said, noting that Mountain’s visa had expired “long ago.”
Danny Mountain has not posted on social media since August 23. Friends and co-workers say they have been unable to reach him and have received no official word about his status. ICE does not routinely share information about detainees with friends or family until proceedings begin, leaving his whereabouts unclear.
One source said Danny Mountain was “picked up by ICE either on his way to set, possibly when he left Burbank or landed in Vegas.”
This makes sense as his last tweet was from the Burbank airport on the 23rd, where he was on his way to Vegas for a shoot.
Danny Mountain now faces removal proceedings. Immigration attorneys note that overstaying a visa can lead to a years-long ban on returning to the United States once deported. For someone working in a high-profile but legally precarious industry, the impact could be career-ending in the U.S. market.
ICE has not responded to requests for comment. Deportation timelines vary, but detentions often result in extended stays in federal holding facilities before hearings are scheduled.
Danny Mountain’s case underscores a longstanding tension in the adult industry: many international performers work in the U.S. on temporary visas but struggle to secure long-term legal status. The lack of clear pathways can leave careers vulnerable to sudden disruption.
His status has now been verified with US immigration. He is without a doubt in their custody and awaiting his deportation hearing.
